What is The Winter Moon Festival?

The Winter Moon Festival is a proposed 2-day brony concert event, featuring a night of live bands, traditional, and acoustic performances, as well as a night of electronic musicians in a dance hall setting.

We are actively looking for feedback from the community before raising a single dollar or booking a venue, because we want to be sure we do this event right. We want to provide the best possible experience for both our concert-goers as well as our musicians and volunteers, and to do that, we’re looking for your opinion on the ultimate brony concert experience.

If you have 5-10 minutes, please fill out our short survey so we can provide you with the absolute best concert experience.

Think you can help? Complete our volunteer application!

Who’s Behind This Event?

Forest Rain

Forest Rain

Forest Rain is a brony musician and community activist. She has been creating brony music since January 2012, and was the creator and producer of “The Massive Smile Project”, the artist behind “Great to be Different”, co-creator and former host of Elements of Harmony, and a co-founder of Canterlot Hill.

Despite her love and unwavering support for Princess Celestia, she is extremely excited and motivated to create the best Winter Moon Festival she possibly can.

Larscis de’Medici

Larscis has been working with live audio for around 3 years at many of the conventions you’ve seen and attended. His repertoire includes the likes of Ponyville Ciderfest, Midwest Brony Fest, Whinny City Pony Con, MLP-MSP, and Everfree Northwest 2017. He’s also an avid audiophile and his reason for why we can’t have nice things is that Beats is better at marketing than Sennheiser or AKG. He also makes a mean Old Fashioned.

As a supporter of Princess Luna, and a natural denizen of the night, he feels that it is only right that the Winter Moon Festival be the best it can be.
